I recently became elgible for MediCare and am disappointed to find those of us turning 65 this year will have $14.00 more a month deducted from social security than folks who turned 65 last year.
Also, am I correct in understanding in the latest Health Care Reform bill that Baucus wants to 'require' all MediCare seniors to be medically 'screened' every two years? Wonder what happens if we don't pass the tests??
Looks as if being a Baby Boomer will certainly have it's challenges!

That WAS the proposal! But I don't know what this new draft will include. By the Time we do know, it will be too late. Email Baucus and Tester let them know you can't support them if they don't support you and the majority of Montanans.
I should note that as part of paying for Health Care Reform, Washington is taking approx. $500,000,000 from medicare. In other words you and every other medicare recipiant will pay for this thing they call Health care reform!
