State funding to help Libby residents suffering from asbestos-related diseases!

Friday, November 29, 2007

Governor Brian Schweitzer presented the Lincoln County Board of Health with a check for $1.5 million on Wednesday and also spoke with the board of the Center for Asbestos Related Disease (CARD). These funds will help cover costs related to asbestos disease for the next two years.

Although the $1.5 million won't go directly to help the CARD clinic this money will help for folks in the community who are suffering from asbestos-related diseases.
